HR Administrator / PA
The Company
DOHR is a Hertfordshire based HR Practice providing support and consultancy to businesses across London and the South East. Established in 2007, DOHR has over 100 clients of varying sizes operating in all sectors. We offer a highly professional business service where understanding the customer’s business combines with our expertise to provide outstanding support to employers. DOHR is entering a stage of expansion. Having gained an HR support officer in 2011, we are now looking for an HR Administrator to join the team.
The Role
The environment
- The HR Administrator / PA will work from home and have dial in access to our systems.
- The hours will be Monday – Friday 10 – 2 (although this may vary over time).
- Attendance at regular on-site meetings will be required and attendance at client site may also be required
The Job
- Arranging meetings
- Incoming call handling
- Diary Management / Meeting Preparation
- HR Administration i.e. issuing contracts, taking up references, making up personal files
- Recruitment administration i.e. sifting CVs, setting up interviews, rejecting candidates, providing feedback
- General Administration i.e. typing, powerpoint presentations, invoicing, online marketing, conference preparation
- Note taking at meetings, interviews, disciplinaries and grievances
- Marketing activities under the direction of others
The Individual
Education and Experience
- Educated to A’level is essential and degree level is preferable
- A business related qualification is ideal
- A solid administration background
- Proven ability to work within a fast paced HR environment
- Significant experience using Microsoft office products to an advanced business level
- Social media / marketing experience desirable

- A self motivated, The ability to work independently
- Must be able to work remotely without domestic distractions
- High attention to detail, working efficiently and accurately under pressure
- Significant experience multi-tasking to meet conflicting client deadlines and team requirements
- A solution focussed problem solver who is able to apply common sense in a business context to resolve issues before they escalate
- Proven ability to influence others through written, oral and face to face communication
- A strong sense of business and work ethics
- A completer / finisher who is able to project manage and follow through as required
