With more than 25 years of HR experience spanning the private, charity and faith sectors, Gilly Shulman is a trusted HR professional bringing practical expertise, strategic insight and a people-focused approach to every client engagement.

Gilly provides tailored HR support to small organisations and charities, helping them navigate all aspects of people management, including HR processes, employment contracts, policies, employee relations and organisational development.

Gilly’s experience includes over 22 years with a faith-based community organisation, culminating in her role as HR Director. During her tenure, she developed and led HR strategy, ensuring that people practices aligned with organisational objectives while supporting communities, leaders and stakeholders across the UK. She also served as HR adviser to 42 synagogues nationwide, providing expert guidance on recruitment, performance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, training, appraisals and employee relations.

Gilly has also worked for an electronics test and measurement company, building a strong foundation in operational HR that has informed her hands-on and pragmatic approach ever since.
