Welcome to the first 2012 edition of PeopleTalk. This is the time of year when both employers and employees are setting their goals for the next 12 months. For employees it is a time of ‘New Year’s Resolutions’ and for employers it is ‘Strategic Planning’: What do I want the business to look like this time next year? What steps do I need to take to get there? At the moment it is pretty hard to predict how the external environment will impact on our businesses, so the best we can do is plan what we want, how we are going to get there and continually monitor the external environment such as the economy and legislation to assess how they will impact on our company’s performance. New Payment Mechanism
For many of our clients, being able to pay as you go for HR advice and assistance offers flexibility which has until now not been available. With the introduction of our credit card payment facility, clients are able to settle invoices and use our new pay as you go service. Credit card details will be held on our system for pay as you go clients and following ad hoc HR support through phone calls and emails an agreed fee will be charged to the client’s credit card.

Access to Resources
If you haven’t had the opportunity to take a look at our new website, now would be a good time. The content is continually developing and recently while standing outside a café in London waiting for a client, I was able to provide another client with the information they required by directing them to the right page on the website. Our Blog has been incorporated and we would love for you to add your comments to the discussions there. We also have a resource area with access to useful documents and information.
